Behind DT WORKSHOP

Hey there, my name is David TRUONG and I’m a paper designer. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been attracted to manual activities, anything revolving around art and craft mainly, from drawing to painting, or even sculpting.

In 2014, I had the opportunity to work on my first project involving paper. This first encounter with this fascinating material was so fun and satisfying that I decided to make a living out of it.

In this era where digital tends to occupy an increasing place in our daily life, I try to focus and preserve the manual aspect and savoir-faire involved in the creation of my sculptures – encouraging as many as possible to experiment paper art.

I believe creative research is something very important, and conceiving something and building it is, nowadays, one of the rare ways to feel self-satisfaction and express our creativity.

So get you scissors ready and join me on this new challenge !
